The Alan Shearer Centre

Barclays most successful social media film ever.

When Alan Shearer retired from football he gave all his testimonial money to good causes in Newcastle and set up this wonderful respite home for disabled children and their parents. In this touching film Alan introduces us to Carolyn Lawson, a volunteer at the centre and recipient of the Barclays Spirit of the Game award.
